Nebula is Arts Access Victoria’s fully-accessible portable arts space.
Nebula was devised by artists from Art Day South, one of Arts Access Victoria’s weekly arts programs; they wanted to create an accessible studio that could travel across Victoria to offer more opportunities for artists with disability, because it was built with them at the heart of its design.
Australia’s first portable arts space created with artists with disability in mind, Nebula adapts to the art and the artists who use it. It can be transformed into a gallery, workshop space or performing arts venue, offers opportunities for creating site-specific work or can be used as a communal meeting place.
Through this space, artists with disability can inject their work into the mainstream arts community.
